What's new

What has changed in Still, newest first.

  1. New

    A tidier header

    • FixedThe logo and app switcher sit on the left of the header again. Tapping the Still logo now opens the list of Vitalli apps.
  2. New

More reliable sign-in, consent tied to you

    • FixedIf Still briefly lost its connection to the database, you were signed out. Now you stay signed in, and Still checks again on your next visit.
    • Privacy & securityYour consent to the processing of health data now applies only to your account, not to the browser. If someone else signs in after you in the same browser, Still asks that person directly. The marker is removed when you sign out or delete your account.
    • Privacy & securityWhen you delete your Still account, the log of your activity is now deleted as well. Only an entry that an account was deleted remains, with no link to you. Where you appear as a buddy in someone else's list, your address is removed.
    • FixedIf you installed Still on your home screen from gostill.app earlier, the app recently only showed the home page. It now opens your fasting overview again.
  3. New

What is free in Still, on one page

    • NewNew: a page that shows what you get in Still without a subscription, from the eleven fasting templates to the glucose ketone index, with answers to common questions. You will find it at the bottom of the home page.
    • ImprovedThe fasting calculator now shows a short answer at the top, the date it was last updated and a link to its sources. Further down, it answers the most common questions.
  4. New

Fasting calculator without an account, preview images for shared cards

    • NewNew: a fasting calculator you can use without signing in. Enter when your fast starts, pick 16:8, 18:6, 20:4, OMAD or another schedule, and see when your eating window opens and closes – as calendar events too, if you like.
    • Privacy & securityEverything is calculated in your browser: nothing you enter into the calculator is sent or stored.
    • FixedWhen you share your fasting card, WhatsApp, iMessage and other messengers now show the preview image with your fasting time.
    • ImprovedExpert mode carried a “Premium” badge although it is free for everyone. The badge is gone — expert mode stays free.
  5. New

Stricter rules for connected AI assistants

    • Privacy & securityA connected AI assistant now reaches your fasting data only through the secured route. An older, general-purpose access key no longer opens that interface.
    • Privacy & securityYou always start your first fast in Still yourself — an assistant cannot begin it for you before you have read and confirmed the safety notice.
    • ImprovedAnd there is now a cap on how many requests an assistant may make about your data in a short time.
    • Privacy & securityWe have also brought the app's technical foundation up to date, applying security fixes along the way. You will not notice anything — it closes gaps before anyone uses them.
  6. New

Switching in from other Vitalli apps

    • FixedSwitching to Still from another Vitalli app now really lands you in Still. Before, the browser sometimes showed only “Please check your internet connection” — and you couldn't stop your fast.
    • ImprovedIf you still need to agree to the processing of your health data along the way, you then continue exactly where you were headed — instead of on the home screen.
  7. New

    Privacy in the chat

    • Privacy & securityWhen an AI assistant in another Vitalli app looks up your fasting data, it only ever gets your own — bound to your sign-in, not to an email address the assistant names.
  8. New

    What's new

    • NewThe new “What's new” page shows what has changed in Still. You'll find it in Settings and in the footer.
    • Privacy & securityIn the feedback window, a screenshot is only attached if you tick the box yourself. The note there now says clearly that a screenshot can show health data.
  9. New

    Clearer privacy and safety

    • Privacy & securityDuring the beta we only analyse how you use Still if you have agreed to it. Without your consent no fasting times are included, and you can withdraw via a link in Settings.
    • Privacy & securityYour email address and country are no longer part of the usage statistics. The language cookie is only set when you switch the language yourself.
    • NewBefore your first fast you confirm a short safety note once. While you fast, the timer shows how to recognise low blood sugar.
    • ImprovedThe privacy policy, terms and legal notice have been revised and are complete in both languages. The account deletion dialog now says exactly what is deleted and what remains.
  10. New

    An easier start

    • ImprovedOn your first visit Still uses your browser's language.
    • ImprovedShared fasting cards appear in the language of whoever opens them and lead straight to sign-up.
    • NewAfter your first completed fast, Still shows once how your fasting fits into the bigger picture in the Vitalli hub. Once dismissed, it stays gone.
    • Privacy & securityAfter signing in, your fasting data is only shown once you have agreed to its processing.
  11. Glucose with context

    • NewWhen you log a glucose reading you choose when it was taken: while fasting, on an empty stomach, after a meal or at random. If a fast is running, “While fasting” is preselected.
  12. Correct times afterwards

    • ImprovedYou can now correct the start and end of a fast in your history too. The time editor tells you which time you are changing.
    • NewThe feedback button lets you reach us directly from the app.
  13. Phases that follow your readings

    • NewIf you have measured glucose or ketones, the fasting phases follow your readings instead of the clock alone. If you reach ketosis earlier, the signal moves up.
    • NewStatistics show on how many days your GKI was in each range, and there is a new “12 months” period.
    • ImprovedEvery page now has the same navigation in the same place.
  14. Less stored sign-in data

    • Privacy & securityStill no longer keeps access keys from your sign-in provider after you sign in. Previously stored ones have been deleted.
    • FixedA reading entered twice, for example in the app and through the AI assistant, is now stored only once.
  15. Buddies with consent

    • Privacy & securityYou only share your fasting with buddies once you have both agreed. You accept or decline invitations in Settings.
    • NewInvited people get notified, and you can pause sharing at any time instead of removing the connection.
    • NewStill suggests buddies from Joiva who also use Still.
  16. Statistics by period

    • NewFilter your statistics by 7, 30 or 90 days, by this year or by a custom range in the calendar.
    • NewTap to set your own thresholds for extended and long fasts. Long fasts have their own section.
    • FixedIn the installed app on iPhone, the header no longer sits under the status bar.
